wanting

My wishlists are overflowing. I know, they say to "shop your closet" but I've sold mine to Beacon's. Only a few favorites remain. This Built by Wendy dress has been a staple for the last two years. The necklace is a newer addition though. I had it custom made on Etsy, using a bullet casing from the gun salute at my grandpa's funeral. I'd been meaning to do something with it for so long and am glad it turned out the way it did.

But yes, I'm plotting my winter wardrobe purchases. Simple silk dresses, cardigans that don't make me look like a school marm, infinite legwear, one of the vintage leopard coats on my long eBay watch list, Chloé bootiessss...gonna get in trouble when that paycheck finally arrives.

Wow, that necklace is amazing. And it's so sweet that you've attached some sentimental value to it. It makes it so much more special!

That necklace is really nice and I also like the story behind it. Now it will remind you of your grandpa anywhere you go. :)
