Hey lady!

My new (vintage) boots arrived yesterday from theURBANcollection. Finally a versatile pair of brown boots. The toe is reinforced with metal so let's hope these babies live into the Spring. I'm notoriously harsh on every pair of boots I buy...perhaps I walk funny?

Killer early 90's style.

My father sent me this photo the other day. It just proves how subtly awesome my style was as a kid. Black leggings and a puff paint leopard shirt? Yeah, I rocked it. (Not sure who was cutting my bangs though.) And who knew how trendy Creepy Santa's glasses would become among the hipsters!

Commence the daydreaming.

I've been doing a bit too much shopping lately and my bank account has suffered. But who can blame me? After all of the holidays are over, winter becomes so dull and gray. Everything seems to stop dead in its tracks and some days you just need a lovely new dress to make your blood start circulating again. These dresses by Hurwundeki over on Asos are perfect. I turned 24 yesterday but am not a fan birthdays.

I live with two cats and a roommate in Brooklyn, New York.

I went to art school for photography and now work in an editorial art department.

When I was 17, all I wanted was to be a flapper and tried with all of my might to make it happen, despite being 80 years late to the party.
